Ship Markers (step by step)

As I don´t like to use paper markers to indicate what happens during the game, I happened to make some markers to indicate the status of the ships clearly, without too much distorsion on the table.

I found some needles with a ball head in a bazaar that will work perfectly. They could be used as they are, but I´ve painted them to look better.

------------
First put them in line on a piece of cardboard and print.

Paint the head with various colors to represent different conditions of the ship.

Black: captured
White: fleeing
Red: damaged
Orange: confusion on deck
Green exhausted rowers
Orange-Green: confusion on deck and exhausted rowers

I have painted the rod with the same blue as the base, so it will not be notice too much.

------------
After varnishing it, cut the tip of the needle, that is not painted and so we also reduce the size.

------------
Drill a couple holes on the base with the same thickness as the needle. In the picture you can also see the hole for the dice representing VBU.

------------
That's it. In the picture we see a damaged pentere running away.

Espero que os guste la idea.

Hope you like the idea.

Nos vemos!
