He conseguido hacer algunas fotos a dos unidades de legionarios (hastati y principes) que terminé hace unos días, así que hoy hay doble entrada!

Heroquest 15mm -Ghouls

Gondor Ballista [10mm LOTR]

Esta unidad no tiene ninguna conversión, es simplemente una balista romana y un par de figuras de artilleros medievales de Pendraken pintados con los colores del ejército.

This unit has no conversion, it s just a roman ballista and a pair of medieval artillery crew figures painted with the colors of the army.

Easterlings [10mm LOTR]

Unidad de hombres del Este. Hacer UNA conversión en 10mm está bien, pero tener que hacer 18 es otra historia... No he tenido valor para hacerles las hombreras, bastante he tenido con intentar que los 18 cascos me quedasen más o menos iguales. El estandarte también está hecho con masilla.

Easterlings unit. Making ONE conversion on 10mm is fine, but having to make 18 is another story ... I have not had the courage to make the shoulder pads, I've had enough with trying that the 18 helmets look roughly equal. The banner is also made with putty.

Aunque no he quedado muy contento con el resultado individual de cada figura, creo que el aspecto general de la unidad es bastante bueno. Si me animo haré otra más y me gustaría tambien una unidad de catafractos... pero creo que eso va a ser más dificil de conseguir.

Although I´m not very happy with the individual result of each figure, I think the overall look of the unit is pretty good. I´ll probably make another unit, and I would also like a unit of cataphracts ... but I think that will be harder to get.

Aunque son figuras de mahdistas, las usaré como árabes en mi ejército seléucida (he cortado algunas lanzas para que parezcan arcos). Sí, ya sé que es una unidad poco importante, pero me hacía mucha ilusión pintar los dromedarios...

Although these are mahdists figures, I will use them as arabs in my Seleucid army (I cut some spears to look like bows). Yes, I know it is a minor unit, but I really wanted to paint the dromedaries...

Elephant

Este elefante, sin torre ni combatientes, representará al pequeño grupo de elefantes presente en el ejército romano durante la batalla de Magnesia. Se quedaron en retaguardia, porque se habrían asustado al enfrentarse a los elefantes seléucidas, de mayor tamaño.

This elephant, without tower nor fighters, shall represent the small group of elephants present in the roman army at the battle of Magnesia. They deployed behind the lines, because they would have scared to face the larger seleucid elephants.

Me encanta la figura por lo sencilla que es. Igual pinto otro más.

I like this figure because of it´s simplicity. Maybe I should paint another one.
