Me está llevando mucho tiempo terminar estas figuras (acostubrado a los 10mm) pero estoy disfrutando mucho el pintado de los escudos.

Step by step: SAGA movement tray

Os explico, paso a paso, cómo he creado la base de movimiento para SAGA. Ya veréis que es muy sencillo.

I´ll explain yoy, step by step, how I´ve created the movement tray for SAGA. It is very simple, you will see.

1.- Cortamos un trozo de cartón pluma con la forma de nuestra base, irregular en este caso, pero podéis cortarla cuadrada (y aprovecharla para Impetus) o como queráis.

2.- Quitamos una de las caras de cartón, dejando la espuma al aire, y recortamos los bordes para crear pendiente. 

3.- Usando las peanas, marcamos la posición de los huecos y eliminamos la espuma "escarbando" con una cuchilla. Luego nos aseguramos de que las bases encajan bien sin que haya mucho roce.

1.- Cut a piece of foam board in the shape of our base, irregular in this case, but you can cut it square (and use it for Impetus) or whatever you want.

2. - Remove one of the cardboard faces, showing the foam, and then we bevel the foam.

3.- Using the miniature bases, mark the position of the holes and remove the foam "digging" with a blade. Then make sure that the miniature base fit well without having a lot of rubbing.

4.- Damos textura a nuestra base de la misma forma que hemos hecho con las peanas. En mi caso uso Vandal y piedrecitas/cortezas (como en otros tutoriales).

5.- Una vez seca es posible que se haya combado un poco, pero podéis forzarla un poco para que vuelva a su posición original. Pintamos y terminamos de decorar.

Listo. Se puede usar DM para dar mayor solidez a la base, pero entonces aumentamos la altura. Vosotros mismos.

Rocks [scenery]

Esta noche he podido terminar tres elementos de escenografía sencillos. Son rocas hechas a partir de cortezas de pino, y las bases CD recortados. Las he pintado sin dar imprimación, con pintura muy diluida (gris y marrón) y un pincel seco de gris claro.

Tonight I´ve been able to complete three simple terrain pieces. Rocks are made ​​from pine bark and bases a cutted CD. I´ve painted them without giving primer, using very dilute paint (gray and brown) and a final dry brush with light gray.

Movement tray [SAGA]

En lugar de acabar de pintar la unidad de caballería que tengo a medias, he hecho una base de movimiento para la única unidad que tengo pintada...

Las próximas las haré de 4 huecos, porque así puedo retirar bajas más fácilmente.

On the next ones I´ll do just 4 holes, so casualties could be easily removed.

Al principio no me gustaban mucho las naves de categoría pequeña, pero he de reconocer que he disfrutado mucho pintándolas.
